63 yr-old man in court for stealing laptop

Accra, Oct. 15, GNA – Renner Wineston, 63, charged with unlawful entry and stealing HP Laptop valued GH¢1,750.80, a property of the Agriculture Development Bank, has appeared before the Adjabeng Court Two in Accra on Thursday.

Renner, who pleaded not guilty was granted GH¢4,000 bail with one surety to re-appear on October 29, 2010.

Prosecuting, Inspector Charity Dery told the court presided over by Mrs Faustina Marry Addington that the accused, who lives at Community One in Tema went to Accra and entered the Bank under the pretext of finding a job for his daughter.

Inspector Dery said he entered four offices and conducted a search but took the item and the cash from one of the offices. Unfortunately for him, the security camera at the bank captured him and he was arrested.
