Water and sanitation projects handed over in Jomoro

Half Assini, Sept. 22 GNA – The District Chief Executive for Jomoro, Mr. Victor Kablan, has announced that three communities have started seeing the results of some projects funded by the European Union (EU).

The projects are at Nuba, Tikobo Number One, and Beyin primary schools were done under the Water System International and Household Latrine of the EU, Mr Kablan said at an Assembly meeting at Half Assini.

He pleaded with the Assembly members to support their Water and Sanitation Boards and to ensure good maintenance of the said projects. Mr Kablan said the Assembly would not aid any community that would mismanage the project and urged them to resist individuals or groups who would want to take advantage of any institutional weakness to hijack the facility for their own use.
