Two held for stealing transformer

Hohoe, Sept. 4, GNA – Nathaniel Amekudzi, 25, and Kofi Amanfo alias “Abutia”, are in the hands of the Vakpo Police, for allegedly conspiring to steal an electrical transformer, that supplies water to Vakpo and its environs.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Mr Maama Arhin, Hohoe Municipal Crime Officer, who briefed the Ghana News Agency said Togbe Adobor II, Chief of Vakpo New Adomi and S. Kemevor master-minded the arrest of the two.

He said two others (names withheld) have absconded and are being sought. DSP Arhin said the Police have begun investigations into the matter and would arraign the culprits in court as soon as practicable.
