Already, she has injected more than GH¢30,000 into the project, the successful completion of which, would significantly help to ease the present acute accommodation problem facing girls in the school.

The money is coming from her share of the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund).

Mrs Addo and the headmaster, Mr Victor Owusu-Ansah, on Monday, jointly inspected the project to assess the progress of work.

The MP said as part of efforts at helping to promote education in the area, she had spent more than GH¢10,200 to support the academic pursuit of brilliant but needy students.

Additionally, she has donated GH¢1,000 each to the Mansoman SHS, Manso-Adubia SHS and Esaase-Bontefufuo SHS as an incentive package for the teaching staff.

Mrs Addo is also assisting to put into good shape basic school blocks in some communities through the supply of bags of cement.

Mr Owusu-Ansah commended the MP for her immense contribution towards the development of education in the Amansie West.

He said the school is putting up an eight-unit classroom block to create space for new students to be admitted in the next academic year.
