Association donates items to the sick

Aflao, Aug 23, GNA – Members of the Dekaworwor Haborbor, a social welfare society of Hedzranawo near Denu have undertaken a two-hour cleanup exercise at the Ketu South District Hospital at Aflao and donated soap to patients of the hospital.

The group, numbering about 800, swept, weeded and collected garbage from the hospital and sidewalks and roads leading to the hospital.

The exercise formed part of programmes lined up to mark te association’s 10th anniversary celebrations in September.

Madam Grace-Stella Srem, a Senior Nursing Officer of the hospital, commended the association and appealed to them to sustain it.

She expressed appreciation for the exceptional large turn up of the members of the association in the clean up and said it was worth emulating.

Mr. Simon Gloppah, chairman of the group, said the exercise was to show appreciation for the good services the hospital has been rendering to people.
