Volta to give Nana needed impetus to win 2012 election – Kenwuud

Ho, Aug. 08, – Mr Kenwuud Nuworsu, Volta Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, on Sunday, said the Volta NPP was ready to give the needed support to its Presidential Candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, to win the 2012 presidential election.

He said, “We failed him in 2008 and have no alternative than to do better in 2012.”

Mr Nuworsu said this, in an interview with the Ghana News Agency, in Ho.

He said the Party in the region was going to use “the best method of bringing all hands and experiences on deck to do the magic for Nana and the NPP.”

Mr Nuworsu described Nana Akufo-Addo as a “very ordinary but experienced politician” and said he was hopeful that the electorates would appreciate his qualities and elect him as President in 2012.

He said the Volta Region would play its part to at least increase Nana Akufo-Addo’s percentage score in the region from 14 per cent in 2008 general elections to 21 per cent in 2012.
