The communities were Gomoa Tekyiam, Nsuaem, Adawukwa, Ayensuadze,

Okuu-Kwaa, Ekwamkrom, Jukwa and Okyereko.

Presenting the items on behalf of the government to the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), Mr Isaac Kingsley Aihoon Amah, the District Chief Executive, urged officials of NADMO to distribute the items fairly.

Mr Daniel Domi, the district Co-ordinator of NADMO who received the items on behalf of the victims, expressed his appreciation to the government for his quick response to the plight of the victims and promised to ensure fair distribution of the items.

He said the Gomoa District Assembly has already supported the victims with some items costing 5,000.00 Ghana cedis before the arrival of these items.

Mr Ekow Payine Okyere Eduamoah, Member of Parliament for the area, appealed to the people not to build on waterways and also stop throwing refuse into gutters to avoid flooding.

Radio Peace FM in Winneba also presented five bales of used clothing to the victims.
