Government provides relief items to Gomoa East flood victims

Gomoa Afransi (C/R), July 14, GNA – The government has presented relief items valued at 35,000.00 Ghana cedis to people in eight communities in Gomoa East District displaced by floods during a heavy downpour on June 20.

The items included 105 bags of rice, 40 bags of beans, corn, cooking oil, used cloths, plastic buckets, plastic plates and cups, Student mattresses, mosquito nets, blankets, rubber mats and Wellington boots.
