Soldiers dupe Nana Abosomakotre makes news in Accra

The popular Subinso spiritualist, Nana Abosomakotre is making the news in Accra where he has locked horns with some soldiers who stormed his base in Accra to dupe him. As at the time of writing this story, the matter is before DCOP Atinga-Bio, the Greater Accra Regional Police boss.

Narrating the story to Classic FM in a telephone interview, Nana Abosomakotre said somewhere this year, one Eric Opoku Agyemang approached him for spiritual help. He said since what he wanted was within his means to help him, he gave him some spiritual advice and instructed him to perform some rituals at mid-night the following day.

According to Nana Abosomakotre, Eric Opoku Agyemang returned three days later to say he could not perform the rituals at mid-night because he took some sleeping tablets which made him to over-sleep. Nana Abosomakotre said he again gave him another spiritual help which Opoku once again refused to perform.

According to Nana Abosomakotre, on June 4th 2010 when he had gone out to visit a client, Opoku came to his house with some soldiers and attempted to arrest one of his boys in the house but the boy resisted. At that juncture, he said, the soldiers were able to collect thirty Ghana Cedis from his boy as their lorry fare and promised to come the following day.

On the appointed day, Nana Abosomakotre said the soldiers came in his absence and forcefully seized fifteen thousand Ghana Cedis from one of his boys and also arrested a journalist working with Oman FM who had come to visit him and also seized seven thousand Cedis, a digital camera and a mobile phone from the journalist.

Nana Abosomakotre said the matter was reported to the police who quickly fished out and arrested the culprits. The case is currently before DCOP Rose Atinga – Bio for investigation
