Electoral and registration officials commended

Ajumako (C/R), June 26, GNA – The Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam District Electoral Officer, Mr. Fiifi Caiquo, has commended the district electoral

staff and the registration officials for the success in the just ended Voters Review Registration Exercise.

Mr Caiquo told the Ghana News Agency on Saturday that a total of 6,0 79 voters made up of 3,090 males and 2,989 females were registered in the 10-day exercise in the 42 electoral areas. This brings the total illegible voters in the district to 52,000. Mr Caiquo said the new voters register would be on exhibition from August 9-15 and called on the electorates to visit their polling stations

with their ID cards to cross-check their names. He advised individuals who wished to transfer their voting rights to

contact his office for such transactions. He said people wishing to contest the upcoming district level electi ons could also contact his outfit for nomination forms. 26 June 10
