Winneba Government Hospital receives medical equipment

Winneba, June 22, GNA – The Effutu Municipal Director of the Ghana Health Services, Dr. Godfred Kwesi Morrison, has presented medical equipment to the Winneba Government Hospital.

The equipment was funded by Plan Ghana, a non-governmental organisation, and included Orthopaedic implants.

Dr. Morrison said the equipment would assist the hospital to render high quality services to people and would also improve the emergency preparedness and response of the hospital, ensure prompt and effective management of all referred cases from within and outside the municipality. He said the donation would also promote competency-based training for health staff and further enhance the quality of Orthopaedic service delivery at the hospital. Dr. Morrison expressed appreciation to Plan Ghana for the assistance, which he said was the second within a year.
