Fifty people rendered homeless at New Edubiase Zongo

New Edubiase (Ash), June 5, GNA – A severe rainstorm that hit New Edubiase Zongo in the Adansi South District on Monday night has rendered 50 people homeless. A total of 10 houses were damaged and properties worth hundreds of Ghana cedis were destroyed. There were however no casualties. Mr Benjamin Anhwere, District Chief Executive together with Mr Robert Dzamesi, District NADMO Co-ordinator, and other members of the district security committee have inspected the damage and sympathized with the victims. Mr Anhwere told the Ghana News Agency that the assembly was collaborating with NADMO to mobilize resources to help the victims to resettle. Meanwhile, the victims are putting up with friends and relatives.
