Police arrest land guards

Eight land guards were arrested by the Police in a swoop at Ablekuma, a suburb of Accra.

Reliable police sources told the Ghana News Agency that the guards who have been terrorising land developers in the area would be paraded at the Police headquarters on Saturday to enable victims and the media to identify them.

Three years ago two policemen Jerry Wornu and Owusu Sekyere were murdered by land guards who buried them in an uncompleted building.
