I am not dead – Freddie Blay

A Former 1st Deputy Speaker of Parliament and Former MP for the Ellembele Constituency, Freddie Blay has rubbished reports in sections of the media that he was dead. The Ghanaian Lens edition of Thursday May 27, published a story captioned ‘‘Freddie Blay Is Dead’’?

The paper further went on to state that, ‘‘unconfirmed reports it had received as at the time of going to press, said Mr. Freddie Blay had passed on’’.

”According to close family sources, Freddie Blay passed on yesterday at a health facility in the Volta Region where he had been receiving treatment for some undisclosed ailment’’ the paper noted.

It added that ‘‘Freddie Blay and his wife Gina Blay, own the notoriously anti-NDC News paper, the Daily Guide and that Freddie Blay is considered by political pundits as a classic study material on political prostitution’’.
