Accra, May 24 GNA – The death is reported of Mr. Alhassan Bukari Shakour, the District Chief Executive of Sawla-Tuna-Kalba, a statement in Accra said on Monday. The statement signed by Mr. Joseph Yieleh Chireh, Minister for Local Government and Rural Development and copied to Ghana News Agency, said the fatal event occurred through a motor accident on Saturday, May 22. The statement said the death of the DCE would leave a void in the hearts of lives of those who knew him and expressed the government’s deepest sympathy and condolences to the bereaved family of the late DCE and the entire District Assembly.
