Apostle calls on Ghanaians to obey God’s commandment

Nsawam, April 7, GNA – Apostle Michael Sefa Thompson, of the Nsawam branch of the Apostolic Church Ghana, on Sunday said if Ghanaians obey God’s commandment and also abide by the laws of the country, Ghana would be a prosperous nation. Apostle Thompson said this during activities marking the 75th anniversary celebrations of the Church, which coincided with the Easter festivities.

He said the resurrection of Jesus Christ gave “everyone the power to go by the virtues we preach not the vice”, and that “Christ died for our sins and rose again that we might have everlasting life”. Apostle Thompson said sins like defilement, robbery, rape and other social vices being perpetrated in the country should stop since God despises such acts He urged Ghanaians to be God-fearing and change their lifestyles so that Gods blessing would be on the Nation. He said the death of Christ and his resurrection should pave the way for God’s blessings and urged Ghanaians to love one another and live in peace for national development. 7 April 10
