This is to announce the 8th Annnual African Healthcare Summit organised by the Ghana Physicians and Surgeons Foundation from April 16th 2010 to April 18th 2010. in Atlanta at the W Downtown Atlanta Hotel .
The theme for this year’s Summit is “Poverty and Health.”
There will be various speakers presenting Medical topics with emphasis on how poverty affects health and steps currently being taken to improve the situation.
The Keynote Speaker is Prof Clifford Tagoe , former Dean of the Ghana Medical School and current Vice Chancellor of University of Ghana, Legon.
The Scientific session will end at 6.00pm on Saturday , April 17th 2010 and will be followed by a fundraising dinner dance from 8.00pm tp 2.00 am .
There will be an open forum in the morning of Sunday April 18th on the problems of health care delivery in Ghana. The conference will adjourn at midday on Sunday.
