NVP would transform the economy when given the mandate

Manso – Nkwanta, April 1, GNA – Prophet Daniel Yaw Nkansah, Leader and Founder of the New Vision Party, (NVP) has vowed to ensure real economic growth and create wealth for the people, if he is elected in the 2012 polls. He said the agricultural sector would receive tremendous boost through the establishment of “State Farms” to give jobs to the youth and improve food security.

Prophet Nkansah said this when he addressed sympathizers of the party at Manso-Nkwanta in the Amansie West District. This formed part of his tour of the Ashanti Region to explain the NVP’s ideology to win over more supporters ahead of the next presidential and parliamentary elections.

He told the people under an NVP Government, Education would be given more attention and that no child would be denied education because of poverty.

Teachers would also be adequately motivated to have passion for the job.

Prophet Nkansah criticised the Mills Administration for what he described as ‘mismanagement of the economy which has led to untold hardships and suffering of many Ghanaians.’

“The going has simply become tough as prices of goods and services keep surging. Ghanaians deserve better than this.” The NVP leader said bad leadership has been the bane of the country’s woes and urged the people to have the courage to speak against the policies of government that were hurtful.

Prophet Nkansah said his Administration would not be discriminatory, saying they would take on board useful suggestions from all sections of the society to deepen transparency and good governance. He asked supporters of the party to intensify their political education to help more voters to have better understanding of the NVP ideology. Other communities in the area he visited included Manso-Akropong, Manso-Asaaman, Manso-Atwedie and Manso-Yawkrom.
