I will kill you- MP threatens MCE

The Member of Parliament for Assin North Constituency, Kennedy Agyapong, has threatened to kill the MCE of his area Alex Antwi Bosumtwi.

He said his reasons to eliminate the MCE stems from the fact that he has evidence that the MCE want to assassinate him.

Hon. Adyapong said although a formal report has been lodged to the police, he will not hesitate to kill the MCE before the MCE dares him.

He told Citi News in an interview that prior to this incident he had no issues with the MCE.

However in recent times he was informed that the MCE had been maligning him and also plotting to assassinate him.

“Well if he has planned to kill me, I will kill him first, I repeat I will kill him first. I have the evidence on tape…the chief hinted me that there was a problem but they didn’t tell me he had made such a serious statement that if I go there and they beat me to death he doesn’t care.”

Hon. Adjapong told Citi News that the MCE wants him dead because he (the MCE) had lied continuously to the people in a bid to discredit the good works he (Hon. Agyapong) has done.

He added that “the MCE went on radio to say things about him (the MP) and the radio station thought I should be given the chance to respond but the MCE was preventing that because he knew when I go there I will expose him (the MCE) but the radio station also insisted that he doesn’t have the right to prevent the MP to come and respond.”

According to Hon. Adjapong, “the MCE was assured that he would defeat me in 2012 but I know it is a political talk, if you are going to defeat me you don’t have to lie or hatch a plan to assassinate me”
