53rd Ghana Independence Celebrations In Rochester New York

ASSOCIATION OF GHANAIANS AND FRIENDS

The association of Ghanaians and friends based in Rochester NY kicked of their celebration of Ghana 53 independence celebrations with a fund raising soccer competition in Aid of Haiti and Genesee valley Special Olympics. The tournament organized by the Rochester Rhinos dubbed the Winter classic soccer tournament raised over $4000. The Ghana team known as the Rochester Black stars played very well only to loose in the semi finals. Other planned activities for the 53rd independence celebration will be as follows April 3rd 2010 Dinner with Chief Justice of Ghana Georgina woods
