NPP-USA Congratulates New executive committee.

NPP-USA congratulates Chairman Jake Okanta Obtsebi Lamptey and his newly elected national executive team. The successful NPP Conference held in Kumasi on February 27, 2010 has demonstrated to all and sundry that NPP is a disciplined, unified, vibrant, and a national party. We salute the out-going executive committee for organizing such a beautiful conference with this many delegates without any hitch. This is also an eloquent testimony that the One Member One Vote (OMOV) concept has worked perfectly.

It is our hope that chairman Obetsebi Lamptey will bring his vast political organizing experience to bear in his new office, to help us deliver Ghanaians from the clutches of NDC violent assault on free speech, the mismanagement of the national economy, and constant rolling back of the progress made in the last eight years, by recapturing power from the out-of –control NDC in 2012.

We want the newly elected executives to emulate the gesture of unity as demonstrated by the former president Kufour in leading the new executives and some important personalities in the party to the thanksgiving church service in Kumasi on February 28, 2010. We want the new chairman and his executive team to be gracious in victory, and tap all available talents in the party and its overseas branches to move the party and the nation forward.

We wish you God’s blessing and a very successful term of office that will see NPP’s return to power in 2012.

Long Live NPP,

Long Live Ghana.

Nana Agyei Yeboah, Chairman, for and on behalf of NPP-USA.
