Parliamentary debates State of the Nation address from Tuesday

Accra, Feb. 26, GNA – The debate on the President’s State-of-the-Nation address, delivered on Thursday, would begin in Parliament on Tuesday, Mr Cletus Avoka, the Majority leader has announced.

He made this known when he presented the Business Statement of parliament for the sixth week, ending Friday, March 5, 2010. Consequently, the Business Committee of Parliament has allotted 20 minutes to the mover of the motion, 15 minutes to the member who would second it and 10 minutes to other members who would contribute to the motion.

Mr Avoka said during the course of the week, the Ministers of Roads and Highways, Information, Health, Interior and Water Resources, Works and Housing would appear before the house to answer questions from the legislators. 26 Feb. 2010
