Accra The Ghana Association of Consultants (GAC) is to expand and equip its secretariat to serve as an “Information clearing house” and provide other specialised services for members. This is part of a 500,000-dollar project funded by Danish International Development Agency under its three-year human resource development programme to assist members of the GAC to improve their skills and consultancy services. Mr Kwasi Poku, President of GAC, announced this at the opening of a one-day workshop today to brief members on the programmes to be organised under the project and seek their approval. Mr Poku stressed the need to strengthen the capacity of Ghanaian consultants to make them competitive, both on the local and international markets.
