JUSAG appeals to government of be sensitive to workers

Hohoe, Jan. 25, GNA – Mr Felix Eddie Quansah, General-Secretary of Judicial Service Association of Ghana (JUSAG), has appealed to government to demonstrate sensitivity to the plight of the worker and consider paying sums across board to cushion them due to the delays in the full take-off of the Single Spine Pay structure. He said this was relevant in view of the high expectations, escalating prices of goods, services and general economic hardship. Mr Quansah said this at the election of a seven-member executive of the Volta Regional branch of JUSAG in Hohoe.

He saod JUSAG’s provident fund imbued with life assurance policy and its website would be launched officially soon. He said the provident fund would enhance the salaries of staff and accord retiree’s dignity.

Mr Prosper Mensah, Registrar of the Hohoe High Court, swearing-in the Executives urged them to abide by the principles of unionism and discharge their duties without fear or favour.

Mr Francis Dimake, Chairman-elect thanked his constituents for the trust reposed in him, pledging to imbue the union innovative ideas for a forward match.
