MP dupes Ghanaian woman

In the beginning of the Ghanaian presidential elections of 2008 with massive campaigns trails. A young woman of now 33yrs old returns home from the United States with the intention of coming back to settle home, Ghana. The lady has been out of the country for a couple of years.

During those years, she worked hard by washing dishes, serving food basically working any job she can just to earn a living as well as putting herself through college. Any little money she earned her dream was to come back home one day to settle. She said “being in the western world is hard it is never relaxed”.

With the intention of returning home with her life time savings that she has been saving all these years, she decides to invest her money here in the motherland. She was introduced by an old mate whose landlord owns lands in the East Legon extension Santoe. The landlord now MP and his wife agreed to show the young lady the land. The young lady has paid $13.500.00 for the 3 plots since 2008. The man always promised to meet her to start work on her papers detailing the ownership of the land however he never shows up for appointments.

The young lady has been chasing MP in parliament, made numerous phone calls, still no response. The man became an MP for one of the Eastern Region constituency during the election in 2008.

The lady is very surprised how an MP for the government can be such an offender. She has lost the total respect of this particular MP. She says that she believes that her money was partly involved in the 2007 campaign which earns the man the MP title.

In her next article she promises to mention the name of the MP, his party and his constituency somewhere in the eastern region.
