Naa-Morkor Busia passes on

Accra, Jan. 19, GNA – The death is reported of Naa Morkor Busia, widow of former Prime Minister Kofi Abrefa Busia.

A statement from the family of Mrs Busia, 85, said she passed away on Sunday, January 17.

It described her as “daughter, wife, mother, friend and jewel of the nation”.

It said the one week service and celebration would take place at her home at Busia Junction in Accra on Sunday, January 24 at 0700 hours. Details of the funeral would be announced later. 19 Jan. 10
