Ghanaians should invest in their children’s education- Rev. Opoku

Akim Oda, Dec. 27, GNA – The Very Reverend Samuel Kweku Opoku, Synod Secretary of the Akim Oda Diocese of the Methodist Church, Ghana on Sunday urged Ghanaians, especially Christians to invest in their children’s education. He observed that children are the future “insurance” of their parents, hence the need to attract the necessary investment to facilitate their educational pursuit.

Rev. Opoku who was preaching at the Akim Oda St Luke Methodist Cathedral, expressed dissatisfaction about the way some men spend lavishly on their girl friends at the expense of their children’s education. He advised Christians to be honest and trust worthy wherever they may find themselves and not to exploit any situation to their advantage. Rev Opoku later dedicated 13,000 Ghana Cedis musical instruments for the Cathedral.
