Hunger Strike

Abbazia Monte Oliveto Maggiore 53020 – CHIUSURE (siena)

To : The Fr. Abbot General

From : John Kwadwo OWUSU

Date : 26 December 2009

Hunger Strike

Following your unyielding denial of my persistent request to see my Bishop in Africa (Ghana) for discernment, I deemed it proper; therefore to embark on hunger strike as a protest in favour of my rights as Human and a Christian. It is also to protest my liberation from your oppressive governance, from spiritual bondage, and from exile. To protest also my innocence of the accusation saga. The desire to see the Bishop is growing from strength to strength. The strike begins on 1 January 2010, and it is indefinite.

If I die before I woke in the exercise I pray my SOUL and those of my relations and friends would gain possession of supreme happiness and peace. Amen !

Signed Johnkwadwowusu
