Christians urged to be mindful of their activities

Koforidua, Dec. 25, GNA – The Koforidua District Pastor of the Presbyterian Church, Reverend Godfried Atiemo Bamfo, has called on Christians to be mindful of whatever they do since they would have to account for their actions one day. Preaching the sermon on Christmas day at the Ascension Presbyterian Church, the District Minister urged all to reflect on the sovereignty of God and be honest in all their dealings.

He said Christmas had been reduced to an annual ritual of church going and advised pastors not to crave for riches but rather preach for the gospel of salvation to change people for the better. Rev. Bamfo stressed that, the birth of Christ was not an occasion for sheer merry-making but a period of reflection on “our deeds during the year “and urged all Christians to contribute towards national development.
