Awutu-Senya Assembly to collect data to improve revenue

Awutu Beraku (C/R), Dec 23, GNA – The Awutu-Senya District Assembly is engaging the service of National Service Personnel to assist in data collection on revenue to help improve its Internal Generation Fund (IGF). The District Chief Executive, Mr Nuhu Adams, said this at the Second Ordinary Meeting of the second Session of the Awutu-Senya district Assemb= ly at Awutu Beraku.

He said a revenue mobilization task force had been formed to enhance revenue generation.

He expressed the hope that now that traders from the old market had mo= ved to the new market, revenue generation by the Assembly would be improved.

Mr Adams said the acquisition of the grader by the Assembly had helped= in rehabilitation and opening-up of some roads in the district and mentioned=

some of them as roads in Kasoa, Awutu Obrachire and Bontrase.
