NDC elects new executives at Aburi-Nsawam Constituency

Aburi (E/R), Dec. 23, GNA – Mr Seth Engman, has been elected Chairman of Aburi-Nsawam Constituency of the National De mocratic Congress (NDC) at a delegates’ congress at Aburi at the weekend.

He polled 167 votes against the 114 votes recorded by Alhaji Razak Owusu, the former Chairman.

Mr Lordson was elected Vice Chairman, Alhaji Abdul Mutalabi, Treasurer, Mr John Tenge, Deputy Youth Organiser, Ramatu Mustapha Women Organiser, Selina Debrah, Assistant Women Organiser and Mustapha Sewor Youth Organiser. Dr Godfred Osei Bonsu Twum, Akuapem South Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) called for unity and tranquillity among members of the NDC in the constituency to ensure meaningful development in their communities to facilitate the party’s electoral victory in 2012.

He called on the new and the old executive members to work together to retain the party in power.

The MCE asked the newly elected executives not to engage in backbiting and should rather educate people on government’s policies. 23 Dec. 09
