CEPS donates food items to clinic

Tamale, Dec. 14, GNA – The Northern Sector Command of the Customs, Excise and Preventive Services (CEPS) has donated food items to patients of the Shekhinah clinic in Tamale. The clinic offers free medical and social services to society and also feeds prisoners and the mentally ill. It also buries destitute whose relations cannot be found. The items donated to the Clinic included four bags of rice, a ram, two cartons of key soap, two gallons of cooking oil and some sachets of water. Mr. Ernest Frimpong-Nuamah, the Assistant Commissioner and Commander of the Northern Sector, said the donation was part of the service’s social responsibility. He commended Dr. David Abdulai, Proprietor of the Shekihnah Clinic, for his selflessly service to humanity and urged others to emulate his example. 14 Dec 09
