Juaso (Ash), Oct. 21, GNA – Daniel Ayirebi, a 25-year-old barber, has been sentenced to nine months imprisonment by the Juaso Circuit Court for licking the private part of four-year-old girl at Jamasi in the Asante Akim South District. He pleaded guilty.
Police Detective Chief Inspector Stephen Opare told the court that the victim’s mother told the convict on September 22 to shave her children and he went to the house when the woman was not there. Ayirebi sent the victim to buy him blade but later followed her with the excuse that she might not return early.
He caught up with her and forcibly took her into a nearby bush where he stripped her naked and licked her private part. After a while when the two were not showing up, the victim’s brother followed up and saw them emerging from the bush. When he questioned the sister what they were doing in the bush she narrated her ordeal to him. 21 Oct 09
