Bibiani, (W/R), Oct. 12, GNA – A 28 year-old physically challenged man has been sentenced to four years imprisonment by a Bibiani Circuit Court for attempting to sell his younger brother for GH¢10,000. Kwame Acheampong, with an amputated right leg, pleaded guilty to the offence.

Ntum near Diaso in the Central Region. He said on September 30, Acheampong informed his mother, Akosua Brema, that he was travelling to Prestea with his younger brother, Emmanuel, to visit a friend. The mother, he said, readily gave her consent and the accused took the boy to Sefwi Dwenase.
