Two died, five injured in accident near Half Assini

Half Assini (W/R), Sept. 7, GNA – Two people died on arrival at the Half Assini Government Hospital following injuries they sustained when a bus on which they were travelling from the Jewi Wharf market to Aiyinase was involved in an accident at New Edobo on Saturday. They dead are Samuel Kaku, the mate of vehicle, and Mr Kaku Ackah, from New Kabenlasuazo, a passenger.

Five persons including the driver of the vehicle are on admission. They are Joseph Eliason, driver of the bus, Fustina Abuah, Centia Baidoo both from Aiyinase, Avo Ackah Tanoe from Awiebo and Anthony Cudjoe whose hometown was not immediately known. According to the Half Assini Police, the driver said a passenger on the front seat grabbed him when a back tyre burst and this made him to lose control of the vehicle.
