Accra, Aug. 31, GNA – Joseph Klah and Esther Amedzro became the proud winners of the Infinity Achimota Masters Golf Championship played at the Achimota Golf Course in Accra on Sunday. Klah returned a net score of 142 to win the Men’s Division while Esther had 141 net to emerge winner of the Ladies category. The winners received magnificent trophies and air tickets to Dubai as their prizes.
Carl Brew-Aidoo took the second position with 143 net with Nana Bema-Tackie placing second with 145 net in the Ladies segment. The two-day event, which was open to winners of past competitions sponsored by Infinity Group of Companies, attracted over 100 golfers. Mr Surrender Khandari, Chairman of the Infinity Group who had adopted ‘Hole 14’ said his company would continue to support the Club for the development and promotion of the sport in the country. 31 Aug. 09
