Security asked to exercise regularly

Takoradi, Aug. 29, GNA – Commodore Tim Appiah, Second Garrison Commander of the Army, Airforce and Navy in Takoradi has reminded personnel of the security agencies to exercise at all times. He said exercises were the only antidote to prevent sicknesses and keep them physically fit for any task. Commodore Appiah said these at the start of a 20 kilometre “Moral exercise” organised by the three military institutions in Takoradi on Thursday.

He said the exercise was aimed at testing the cohesion and endurance among the units and also demonstrate to the civilians that the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) was ready to deal with any challenge. Commodore Appiah called on all ranks to patronise the gyms provided at the various barracks to make them combat ready. 29 Aug. 09
