Accra, July 29, GNA – President John Evans Atta Mills has nominated Alhaji Alhassan Yakubu as District Chief Executive of the Savelugu-Nanton District in the Northern region. A statement in Accra on Tuesday signed by the Local Government Minister, Joseph Yieleh Chireh, said the nomination was in consonance with Section 243(1) of the 1992 Constitution of the Republic of Ghana, and Section 20 (1) of the Local Government Act, 1993, Act 462. 29 July 09
