Britain to Increase Assistance to Ghana

Britain is to increase her 2000 /2001 Programme Aid Grant to support the health and educational sectors of the Ghanaian economy from 45 million pounds sterling to 55 million pounds sterling.

To this effect an amendment to the Ghana/UK Program Aid Grant would be signed between the Finance Minister, Mr Yaw Osafo-Maafo and the British High Commissioner, Dr Rod Pullen on Monday, according to a release from the Ministry.
