Six killed in an accident

Koforidua, July 16, GNA – Six person were killed, five of them on the spot and one later at the Kyebi Government Hospital when a Metro Bus collided with a bus at Bunso Junction on Tuesday. Forty-six other passengers who sustained injuries were taken to Kyebi and Suhum Government hospitals and the Hawa Memorial Hospital at Osiem. Akyem Tumfa to Accra and on reaching Bunso junction; the driver attempted to overtake a tipper truck but collided with the bus that was coming from the opposite direction. He said the bus driver was seriously injured and had been admitted at the Kyebi Government Hospital but the Metro Bus driver was unhurt.
