German fashion designer donates use clothes

Agona Swedru, July 15, GNA – A fashion designer from Germany, Ms Barbara Yahnigen, has donated used clothing worth about 3,000 Euros to the Christ Abiding Ministry at Agona Swedru.

Ms. Yahnigen said the donation was her contribution towards caring for the needy, which is one of the cardinal objectives of the ministry. The fashion designer, who is in the country as a guest of Mr. Joe De-Graft, Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Cargo Groupage, a Germany-based Freight Handling Company, said she had decided to help the ministry to establish a vocational centre to train the youth to acquire skills.

The Rev. Dr. Obed Ahenafo, Founder and Leader of the ministry who received the items, thanked Ms. Yahnigen for the donation. Rev. Ahenafo said the ministry had acquired land for the vocational institute and appealed for support from individuals and organizations to enable the ministry to undertake other projects.
