Food and Drugs Board warns of fake impotency drug

The Food and Drugs Board (FDB) on Wednesday warned of an unregistered herbal product, Vigoura, being distributed as a natural alternative to the world acclaimed impotency drug, Viagra.

The product, according to a statement issued in Accra, is being marketed as a “Natural Alternative to Viagra for men and women.”

A statement warned that the board has not registered the product. “The Food and Drugs Board cannot, therefore, guarantee the quality, safety and efficacy of the product and advises pharmacies, licensed chemical sellers and the general public from stocking and purchasing it,” the statement said.
