Alive Chapel International holds conference

Accra, June 2, GNA – The Reverend Dr Robert Ampiah-Kwofie, General Overseer of the Global Revival Ministry has called on the government to introduce a policy that would help the youth to develop their talents and make them resourceful. He said the youth of today would be the future leaders of the nation and that everything possible must be done to make them skilful. Rev. Dr Ampiah-Kwofie made the call at the opening of this year’s ‘Catch the Fire’ conference in Accra on Monday. The seven-day conference, organized by the Alive Chapel International, has a sub theme; “Take Over”. It is aimed at building the capacity of the participants and to encourage them to preach the gospel.

Rev. Dr Ampiah-Kwofie attributed the recent spate of accidents on the roads to lack of discipline on the parts of drivers and urged them to be extra careful to save lives and property. Prophet Elisha Salifu-Amoako, General Overseer of the Alive Chapel International, in his welcoming address, called on politicians to bury their differences and rally behind the government to ensure development. He said now that the elections were over, there was the need for Ghanaians to unite and fight for a common goal. Prophet Salifu-Amoako called on Christians to refrain from acts that would hinder national development. He expressed the hope that the participants would achieve their set target at the end of the conference.
