Spanish government honours Tsegah

Accra, May 22, GNA – The government of Spain has honoured Mr Francis Tsegah, former Ghana’s Ambassador to Spain, with the Order of the Civil Merit for his hard work.

A statement in Accra from the Spanish Embassy on Monday said the award was to formally recognise his endeavours and his selfless dedication to strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries during his stay in Madrid, as Ambassador of Ghana. The statement said a ceremony would be held at the residence of the Spanish Ambassador in Accra on Tuesday May 26 to decorate Mr Tsegah. Mr Tsegah was appointed Ghana’s ambassador to Madrid, Spain between October 5, 2004 and April 11, 2009.
