DCE for Bole District calls on Chief

Bole (N/R), May 19, GNA – Alhaji Seidu Abudu Sampson, newly confirmed District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bole has paid a courtesy call on the Bolewura, Chief Gbedese Amankwa II and his elders. Alhaji Sampson was accompanied by the District Co-ordinating Director, Mr I.B. Basintali, party executives and other management team of the District Assembly and the DCE was introduced to the Bolewura and his elders by the Co-ordinating Director.

The DCE and his entourage were taken round the palace. Chief Amankwa in his welcoming address expressed gratitude to President John Evans Atta Mills and the Vice President John Dramani Mahama for appointing Alhaji Sampson as DCE for the area. Chief Amankwa advised the DCE to identify the problems of the people and find a lasting solution to them.

The Bolewura expressed his preparedness to co-operate and to work peacefully with the DCE so as to bring socio-economic development to the people and assured him not to hesitate in consulting him on any developmental plans which would be in the interest of the people. The DCE promised to live up to expectation and said his aim and vision was to work hard to bring development to the district and positive change to the lives of the people, adding that, there was no way he would disappoint them. He said he was ready to listen to the advice of people and learn from their rich experiences in order to bring accelerated development to Bole-Ba District. Alhaji Sampson also called on the Tindaaba (Land Owners) where libation was poured for him for God protection and guidance for him to work hard together with the people in harmony devoid of conflicts. 19 May 09
