Pastor condemns activities of false prophets

Kasoa, April 13, GNA – Pastor John Kwamina Sarkodie, who is in-charge of the Kasoa East branch of the Apostolic Church, has expressed concern about self proclaimed prophets who exploit many people, including Christians, leaving them in poverty. He said one strategy these false prophets use is to put the fear of witchcraft in their victims and they have succeeded in duping their victims of huge sums of money. Speaking at the end of a three-day Easter convention at Kasoa, Pastor Sarkodie said victims of these so-called prophets include people in high positions and their activities sometimes brought conflicts at many levels of society. He said one way to curb the activities of the charlatans was for Christians to study and understand the scriptures in order to be imbued with the spirit of discernment. “The resurrection of Jesus Christ empowers us to burry our differences so that in unity we can develop our church and contribute towards the spiritual growth of the country.”
