Christian urged to ensure peace, unity

Kasoa, April 10, GNA – Pastor John Kwamina Sarkodie, in charge of Kasoa East District of the Apostolic Church, Ghana, urged Christians to use the celebration of Easter to ensure peace and unity in the society. He also called on Ghanaians to end all conflicts and work together for the development of the country.

Pastor Sarkodie was preaching the sermon at a three-day Easter convention, organised under the theme, “Jesus Christ is the Saviour of the World”, by the Church at Kasoa on Easter Friday. He said wars, disagreements and conflicts in society and the Church were the works of Satan but Jesus had conquered the devil on the cross. Pastor Sarkodie appealed to Christians to settle their disagreements and unite because God loves unity. He also asked them to take steps to prevent the nation from disintegration. 10 April 09
