We will address problems of water provision – Minister

Accra, March 31, GNA – Lack of potable water and access to it across the country have been described as major problems associated with water distribution in the country. To this end, a feasibility study on underground water provision sponsored by the United States government is underway to help solve the problem.

Speaking during a courtesy call on Mr Albert Abongo, Minister of Water Resources, Works and Housing, by Mr Donald Gene Tetelbaum, US Ambassador, the Minister also mentioned housing as another problem being faced by Ghanaians adding that the government was working hard to help address the issue.

Mr Tetelbaum said he found it prudent to introduce himself to the new Minister since there would be a lot of collaboration between them. He congratulated the Minister on his assumption of duty and urged him to work very hard for the benefit of the electorate.
