Don’t use violence to resolve issue of national concern-Church Leader

Gomoa Nyanyano, March 29, GNA- The Right Reverend Elia Asirifi-Dadeako, General Spiritual Head of Saviour Church has urged Ghanaians not to use violence means to resolve issues of national concern because it does not

promote peace and unity. He said there was the need to apply a method that would enhance unity

to enable the country to maintain its existing peaceful atmosphere. Rt. Reverend Asirifi-Dadeako made these observations when he addressed pastors and elders of the church at a two-day conference at Gomoa Nyanyano, near Kasoa in the Central Region.

The conference discussed matters to help promote the church and how best it could contribution towards nation-building. He said the nation needed selfless and dedicated leaders and appealed to those in authorities to continue to work hard towards the resuscitation of the economy.

Rt. Reverend Asirifi-Dadeako said God had the power to turn the nation into a paradise and urged Ghanaians to pray for divine intervention for the country to get out of it present predicament. He urged those in public positions to discharge their duties in honesty and truth for the benefit of the people. The General Spiritual Head recounted that many Ghanaians had gone through ordeal and atrocities, but no justice have been done to their cases. He expressed regret about the carnage on the highways and urged Ghanaians to intensify their prayers to halt the trend.
