Government reminds Ghanaians of Independence Day holiday

Accra, March 3, GNA – The general public has been reminded that Friday, March 6, 2009 is a statutory public holiday to mark Ghana’s 52nd Independence Anniversary.

A statement signed by Mr Cletus Avoka, Minister of the Interior, urged that the Day be observed as such.
